If you’ve ever fallen for a get-rich-quick pitch in your life, then you’re bound to look at Maverick Money Makers with a suspicious eye. People are much more sophisticated these days, especially with anything that promises overnight success. At first glance, Maverick Money Makers seems to be another one of these fly-by-night operations, but perhaps this company warrants a closer look.
Upon arriving at the Maverick Money Makers website, you’ll have to go through an agonizingly long sales pitch. The company’s founder, mentor Mack Michaels has several videos posted on the page.
Micheals’ is not a very engaging speaker; he tends to ramble on about how he hit rock bottom and how his family motivated him to achieve success. However, it is perhaps because a lot of people identify with him in essence, he is one of us. He was confronted with the same struggles but unlike most people, he became this self-made millionaire that everyone wants to emulate.
So What’s It All About?
Without getting too specific, Mack Michaels reveals his plan of what it takes to succeed online. Through affiliate marketing (where a business rewards a partner or affiliate, based on the traffic driven to their site), members can reap numerous rewards.
Be warned, though, the Maverick Money Makers Club is not a get-rich-quick scam. While the rewards can be infinite, it is performance-based. You need to be willing to invest time and effort to achieve your goal of earning money that you otherwise would not be earning from a day job.
So What Do You Get For Your Money?
According to some people, the $97 a month fee to be a member of this ‘secret club’ is well worth it. In fact it’s so low it’s bordering on a steal since members earn around $400 per day. While this figure seems suspect and not everyone made such an amount, many members agreed that it was the top-notch customer support and community that helped them maximize their earnings. Michaels himself answers some of the questions posed to him by members.
If you’re new to Internet and affiliate marketing, then the entire program would be of use to you. For more seasoned marketers, there is still value in the programs, though you can probably skip the basic explanations of Internet marketing. The over 60 videos available are extensive and cover a wide range of topics:
Core Training this explains the basics of Internet marketing and how the Maverick Money Makers system works. This section gives you a basic understanding of how to make income online.
Quick Money Blueprints; these are composed of tips on how you can increase the rate of your online income. Veterans may still be able to pick up some new tips, as this section is constantly being updated.
Skill Set Videos; a section that is perfect for newbies. It covers generic Internet marketing topics, like how to create a website, generating traffic, domain names, competitive intelligence, etc.
Mindset Coaching; unique to the Maverick Money Makers, these videos can help you keep your concentration and focus on your goals. The site also offers many bonuses, such as reviewed turn-key products, which can help you increase your online income.
Another great feature of the site is the community forum, where you can ask questions and interact with other members. It is often the experienced members who can give tips and ideas that are helpful.
As mentioned earlier, the Maverick Money Maker’s Club is not for everyone. If you’re expecting to receive a lot of income without doing any work then this is not for you.
If you’re just starting out, then you have to do your research and watch and follow the tutorials. After learning all you can about affiliate marketing, then you’ll actually have to put your plan into action and do actual leg-work. Or you can outsource the work as I do
There are over 50 hours of videos on the site so you’ll need at least a full week to absorb all of the concepts. Then of course, you’ll actually have to do the work making your website, marketing it, creating content or implementing turn-key products.
There is a lot more to making money online than just pressing a button truly, it is not much different than creating your own product, you make something, and then you have to market it so people will buy it. Those who think that a membership alone will earn you the stacks of money fast will be disappointed.
For those who may be unsatisfied, then there is a 60-day money-back guarantee.
For those willing to learn, work hard and stay focused, then Click Here to check out the infinite possibilities with Maverick Money Makers.
Well if you’ve not been on the moon for the last week or two you’ve probably heard of the new software by Brad Callen called PPC Web Spy. If you have been on the moon for the last few weeks you need to read on to find out what all the hype is about.
PPC Web Spy is the latest in an ever growing arsenal of internet marketing products that Brad Callen has released. I’ve bought 3 of them in the past; Keyword Elite, SEO Elite and Affiliate Elite. The first two were excellent products in their own right and I still currently use SEO Elite for all my seo projects. The only gripe for me was that I ended up having a lot of problems (and still do) with Affiliate Elite, but I’ll save that for another post.
Anyway PPC Web Spy is primarily a tool that allows you to spy on what keywords your competitors are bidding on in Adwords. Now there’s a few of these tools around like Affiliate Elite, SpyFu, KeywordSpy etc. But the main difference with this initially is that it’s a plugin for Firefox and not a stand-alone pc application.
Now with the nightmare that I’ve had with Affiliate Elite, I was intrigued to know what Brad’s new keyword spy tool was all about. After all, that was the main reason I bought Affiliate Elite last year when it launched, so I could be a super sleuth on my competitors
So what data can you spy on?
The plugin looks cool and isn’t too intrusive on your browser space. The first thing you’ll notice is that it puts a nice green button under the Adwords Ad that you click to get your data. Ok your thinking, that’s neat so what data can I spy on? Well PPC Web Spy shows you the following data for up to 10 keywords per ad:
- Position
- Avg. CPC
- Max. CPC
- Clicks/Day
- Cost/Day
Now you might think wow that some useful data. But the problem I’ve found with a few of these tools is that they don’t tell you how long the ad has been running for with them keywords. This is crucial because you might be seeing keywords that have only just been initiated today. You need to know the history of an Ad to get the proper metrics and make your decision if the ad is profitable.
There are some other features that let you paste the info straight into Google’s keyword tool so you can get more keywords and also PPC Web Spy will show if certain ads are Amazon or Clickbank affiliates. A really cool feature I found is that it also shows you what other keywords the affiliate is bidding on for different products.
Where’s the catch?
Now obviously with a free product, there is a one- time offer up-sell and this is what put me off.
It was after I signed up, on the up-sell page the second video then explained that PPC Web Spy wasn’t just a keyword spy tool, but it was also a MLM tool. Now for those who don’t know what MLM is, it’s basically Pyramid Selling. Now I’ve had my fingers burned with MLM in the past so it’s a bit of a sore point and really put me off.
Basically, if you send someone a link to download this software, when they activate the plugin to spy on their competitors, just above the top position in Google, affiliate links are placed for certain related products with your affiliate link in. Everytime they search, whatever they search for. I don’t know what it is but I just don’t feel combatable with this at all. Maybe it’s just me.
So feel free to go and checkout the salespage, you can find it at www.ppcwebspy.com Don’t worry that’s not one of the affiliate links I was telling you about. I told you I hate MLM stuff. If you don’t believe me no worries just type the address in your URL J Let me know what you think.
Till next time.
